We are now taking orders for our Free Range Certified Organic and Certified Humane Thanksgiving turkeys!
This year we were not able to receive orlop bonze turkey chicks for our Thanksgiving flock. Our turkeys this year are a white turkey breed. Like all of our animals our turkeys are certified organic and certified humane
Our Thanksgiving turkeys are moved outside as soon as they are old enough and moved every day onto the fresh grass so the turkeys can eat the grass, bugs and grubs. The turkeys are given lots of room to move around and express their natural behavior's.
In addition to being able to pre-order a whole turkey, we are also offering the option to reserve a fresh turkey breast or a turkey thigh. Our turkey breast is a boneless turkey breast that has the skin on, our turkey thigh is a bone-in, skin-on turkey thigh.
There are three easy ways to order your whole turkey, turkey breast roast or turkey thigh:

Wednesday October 9 at the Southwest Edmonton Farmers Market at Terwillegar pickup 3:30pm to 7pm
Thursday October 10 Calgary Farmers Market South pickup 9am to 5pm
Thursday October 10 Calgary Farmers Market West pickup 9am to 7pm
Friday October 11 at Bountiful Farmers Market pickup 10am to 4pm
Friday October 11 Our NEW Organic Meat Shop in Edmonton pickup 4pm to 7pm (note this is an evening pickup)
Saturday October 12 Old Strathcona Farmers Market pickup 8am to 3pm
Saturday October 12 St Albert Farmers Market pickup 10am to 3pm
All Camrose Thanksgiving Turkeys will need to be ordered through the Camrose Nutter’s location. Nutter’s phone number is 780-672-8685
When you place your order we take a $10 deposit per turkey item, this reserves you a turkey, turkey thigh or turkey roast but not a specific size. If you would like a specific size we recommend that you arrive at your pickup location early in order to have the best selection of sizes available.
The majority of our whole turkeys will be between 12lb and 26lbs (5.4kg to 11.81kg) and are $6.58/lb ($14.48/kg).
The majority of our turkeys breast this year will be between 0.88lbs to 2.2lbs (0.4kg to 1kg) and are $16.47/lb ($36.23/kg).
The majority of our turkeys thigh this year will be between 0.88lbs to 2.2lbs (0.4 to 1.0kg) and are $9.79/lb ($21.53/kg)
The deadline to order turkeys is Oct 5 at 5:00pm or when we sell out of reservable turkeys, whichever comes first
