Fresh Organic Easter Turkeys

We are now taking orders for our Organic Fresh Easter Turkeys.

We were not able to receive orlop bonze turkey chicks for our Easter flock. Our Easter turkeys this year are a white turkey breed. Like our Christmas turkeys our Easter turkeys are raised inside warm barns to protect them from the cold Alberta winters. They are given lots of room to move around and express their natural behaviors.

We have a very limited number of turkeys available for Easter. Please pre-order early to ensure that you receive one.

how to order your turkey:

•Online through our website www.sunworksfarm.com Please note that when ordering online you will receive a confirmation email that has an automatically generated pickup date for the week after you place your order. Please ignore this date as it only applies to other items ordered. The correct date for turkey pickup is listed as part of the turkey product description on your confirmation email.

•By phone through the farm office 1-877-393-3133 (office hours are 9am to 2:30pm Monday to Thursday)

Easter Turkey Pickup Days Are:

Saturday April 8 at The Old Strathcona Farmers Market in Edmonton, from 8am to 3pm.
Saturday April 8 at The Edmonton Downtown Farmers Market in Edmonton, from 8am to 3pm.
Thursday April 6 at Fresh and Local Market at Avenida in Calgary, from 11am to 6pm.
Thursday April 6 at South Calgary Farmers Market, from 9am to 5pm.
Thursday April 6 at West Calgary Farmers Market from 9am to 5pm.
Thursday April 6 at Our Meat Shop on Whyte Ave in Edmonton, from 5pm to 9pm EVENING PICKUP
Friday April 7 at The Bountiful Farmers Market in Edmonton, from 10am to 4pm.

Turkeys are not available for delivery to your door.

When you place your order we take a $10 deposit. This deposit per turkey reserves you a turkey but not a specific size. If you would like a specific size we recommend that you arrive at your pickup location early in order to have the best selection of sizes available. The majority of our turkeys this year will be between 12lb and 26lbs (5.4kg to 11.8kg).

You will pay the total of your turkey (minus your $10 deposit) when you pick up your turkey on your selected turkey day. Turkeys are $6.58/lb ($14.48/kg )

The deadline to order turkeys is April 1 at midnight or when we sell out of reservable turkeys, whichever comes first.
