One of the great consolations of fall on the Prairies is the arrival of local produce in the farmers’ markets. The land giveth, here’s where you can taketh (after you payeth, of course)
With September upon us, the local farmers’ markets are overflowing with fresh, top quality products. And, in keeping with the Slow Food movement’s injunction to eat as locally as possible, I offer up the following suggestions, in no particular order, on where to get the best tastes of Alberta.

...Sunworks Farm
Remember when chicken tasted like chicken? Try it again at Sunworks and all that real flavour will come flooding back. It’s organic and it’s sooo good. The farm’s other products, including some serious turkeys for Thanksgiving and Christmas, are also pretty tasty.
